our story
Turbo-Mist boasts a rich history that began with the innovative vision of Dr. James Marshall, an esteemed member of Agriculture Canada. Our journey commenced with the creation of the inaugural Turbo-Mist in 1948, a groundbreaking achievement that marked the birth of the first low-volume automatic concentrate sprayer. Driven by a commitment to revolutionize agricultural practices, Turbo-Mist collaborated with orchardists and viticulturalists globally, pioneering the development of attachments that enhanced chemical application efficiency and controlled drift. This era laid the foundation for Turbo-Mist's reputation as a trailblazer in precision spraying technology.
The subsequent decades, spanning the 1960s through the 1970s and 1980’s, witnessed Turbo-Mist's strategic partnerships with tractor dealerships, establishing a robust service network. This collaborative approach was pivotal in delivering enhanced support to our customers, reflecting our dedication to providing not only cutting-edge technology but also unparalleled service. As Turbo-Mist continued to evolve, the 1980s to the 2000s became a period of focused innovation. During this time, Turbo-Mist introduced groundbreaking technologies such as Gear Up Throttle Down and Turbosteer, aimed at optimizing diesel efficiency. These advancements underscored our commitment to not only meeting but exceeding the evolving needs of the agricultural community.
Fast forward to the present day, Turbo-Mist stands as a beacon of progress in the agricultural spraying industry. Our commitment to innovation remains unwavering as we look towards the future. Today, we are dedicated to leading the industry in implementing cutting-edge technologies that prioritize labor efficiency, diesel efficiency, and chemical efficiency. Turbo-Mist continues to be at the forefront of agricultural innovation, embodying a legacy of excellence that spans over seven decades.

a message from the president...
I am extremely proud to have been invited into a business whose roots extend over 50 years. Our initial products reflected the family farm values of the customers who purchased them. Today, as we strive to be industry leaders in technology it is our obligation to protect those same family farm values as we build next gen products for the Global agriculture industry.
